It’s striking how versatile this guitar is. It covers a wide range of styles with ease — from clean, funky tones to driven rock sounds and heavier applications. Part of that flexibility comes from the Frampton-style wiring. The toggle switch works in the traditional neck / neck & bridge / bridge positions, while the middle pickup can be blended in using its own volume control. The layout is three volume knobs and a master tone, which keeps everything intuitive without overcomplicating things.

The middle pickup may be a correct-era replacement. The aging of its cover differs slightly from the neck and bridge pickups, suggesting it was changed at some point. That said, it integrates well both visually and sonically.

The capacitor has been replaced, which has a positive effect on the tone, adding clarity and improving the usability of the controls.
